Mountain Sage Inn

Meet the Innkeepers!

Meet Bootsie!

Before moving to Estes Park and taking over Trapper's Inn to create Mountain Sage Inn, Bootsie owned and operated the Never Summer Nordic yurt system in the Colorado State Forest State Park for 11 years. If that's not enough, Bootsie was also a firefighter for Kodak Colorado Division!

Bootsie is an adventurer at heart and makes one heckuva cup of coffee! Just one word of warning - her tales are pretty tall, so just watch where you step!

If you don't know what a yurt is or are looking for a great backcountry adventure, go visit our friends Anne and Greg Graves who now operate Never Summer Nordic!

"You run a very neat, tidy and classy place and have

served us very well each and every time we have been here!"

This is Lyn!

With the U.S. Forest Service, Lyn has worked many positions from trail crew to wild land firefighter to Realty Specialist. She boasts that she has hiked every system trail in the Comanche Peak Wilderness north of Rocky Mountain National Park at least once!

Lyn has spent most of her time working for either the U.S. Forest Service or the National Park Service in the Estes Park area. At Rocky Mountain National Park, she spent her working hours as a ranger on Trail Ridge and Fall River Roads and her off-hours climbing any mountain she could get to!

Lyn can definitely help you find good trails to hike and can tell you some tales about driving on Trail Ridge!

Wookie says....

Welcome the newest member of

the Mountain Sage Inn Family!

May I help you?

Harry Pupper

joined our family on July 20, 2007!

Harry (on left) & Wookie are sporting

their new summer haircuts for 2011...

Check out those ears!

Harry's all grown up now and still working hard!

Can you tell them apart?

"Thank you for a great stay. We really enjoyed ourselves.

My wife and I agree that we have never stayed in a

cleaner more spotless motel/hotel. We hope to return

this summer. Thought you might enjoy the attached photo."
